Khulna University Admission Circular 2025-26
Khulna University has shared the admission details for its bachelor’s degree programs. Here are the most important points from the circular:

- Application End: 27 November 2025 (at 11:59 PM)
- Admission Test Dates: 18 & 19 December 2025

- Application Fee: The circular does not state the application fee. You must log in to the admission portal. Then, see the exact fee in the “Application Payment” menu.

KU Admission 2025-2026
The KU admission tests are on two different days. Each unit has a different schedule.

Admission Exam Centers
Khulna University will hold the tests in several cities this year.
- A, B, and C Units: Exam centers will be in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, and Khulna.
- D Unit: Exam centers will be in Dhaka and Khulna only.
Who Can Apply? (Eligibility)
To apply for the KU admission test, you need to meet some rules. There are common rules for all units. There are also special rules for each unit.
Common Rules for all units:
- You must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- You must pass SSC/equivalent in 2022 or 2023.
- You must pass HSC/equivalent in 2024 or 2025.
Here are the special GPA rules for each unit:
A Unit (Science, Engineering & Technology School)
- Total GPA: Your total GPA from SSC and HSC must be at least 8.00. This includes your 4th subject.
- GCE (O/A Level): Must pass 5 subjects in O-Level (min ‘B’ grade). Must pass 3 subjects in A-Level (Math, Physics, Chemistry) with a minimum ‘B’ grade in each.
B Unit (Life Science School)
- Total GPA: Your total GPA from SSC and HSC must be at least 8.00. This includes your 4th subject.
- HSC Subjects: You must have at least GPA 3.00 in five subjects. These are Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics, and English.
- GCE (O/A Level): Must pass 5 subjects in O-Level (min ‘B’ grade). Must pass 4 subjects in A-Level (Biology, Chemistry, Math, Physics) with a minimum ‘B’ grade in each.
C Unit (Arts, Humanities, Law, Fine Arts School)
- Total GPA: Your total GPA from SSC and HSC must be at least 7.00. This includes your 4th subject.
- GCE (O/A Level): Must pass 5 subjects in O-Level (min ‘C’ grade). Must pass 2 subjects in A-Level with a minimum ‘C’ grade in each.
D Unit (Management & Business Administration School)
- Group: Students from all groups (Science, Arts, Commerce) can apply.
- Individual GPA: You must have at least GPA 3.50 in your SSC exam. You must also have at least GPA 3.50 in your HSC exam.
- HSC English: You must have a minimum Grade Point of 3.00 in your HSC English subject.
- GCE (O/A Level): Must have a minimum ‘B’ grade in 3 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level.
How to Apply
The application is fully online. Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the Website: Go to the official admission portal: https://apply.ku.ac.bd/.
- Start Application: Click the “Apply” button. Fill in all the needed information, one step at a time.
- Get Credentials: After you submit, you will get an SMS. This SMS will have your User Name and Password. Save this information. It is very important.
- Log In: Use your new User Name and Password to log in to the “Dashboard”.
- Update Profile: Check the “Profile” menu. Update your information if you need to.
- Verify Application: Go to the “Application” menu. Check, add, or remove the units you want to apply for.
- Pay the Fee: Go to the “Application Payment” menu. Pay the fee for each unit you chose. Save the payment slip after you pay.

KU Admission Admit Card 2025
KU has not announced the admit card download date yet. This date usually comes after the application is over.
You must log in to the admission dashboard at https://apply.ku.ac.bd/. Use your User Name and Password to download your admit card.
Note for D Unit: D Unit applicants must bring two (02) copies of the printed admit card to the exam hall.
Khulna University Admission Seat Plan
Khulna University will post the full seat plan. This will be a few days before the admission test of each unit. The seat plan shows your exam center, building, and room number.
You can find your seat plan on the admission website: https://apply.ku.ac.bd/. You will probably need to log in to your dashboard to see your seat.
Admission Test Marks Distribution
The KU admission test has two parts: MCQ and Written questions.
Important Rules for All Units:
- No GPA for Merit List: KU will make the final merit list. They will only use your admission test marks. Your SSC or HSC GPA will not be used for the merit list.
- Negative Marking: Yes, there is negative marking. For every wrong MCQ answer, 0.25 marks will be cut.
A Unit (Science, Engineering & Technology)
- Total Marks: 100 (MCQ: 60, Written: 40).
- Architecture: If you apply for Architecture, there is an extra 50-mark test. This test is for Freehand Drawing.

KU Admission Result 2025-26
Here are the key dates for the admission results:
- First Merit List: The first merit list will be published on 30 December 2025. This list is based on your test scores.
- Subject Choice: If you are on the merit list, you must choose your subjects. You will use the online “Discipline Choice Form”. This form is open from 01 January 2026 to 03 January 2026.
- Final Result: The final result will be published on 08 January 2026. This list will show the subject you got.

Final Admission Process
If you are in the final result, you must come to the university to get admitted. Follow these dates:
- Admission from Merit List: 12 & 13 January 2026
- Admission from Waiting List: 19 January 2026 (For D Unit, this is 17 January 2026)
- Orientation & Class Start: 25 January 2026
On your admission day, you must come yourself. You must bring the original copies of your:
- SSC/Equivalent Marksheet & Certificate
- HSC/Equivalent Markstring & Certificate
- Original quota certificates (if you have one, like Freedom Fighter, Tribal)
All new students must also pass a health check-up. This check-up is at the Khulna University Medical Center.
