Admission Test Schedule
Jagannath University has given the official exam dates and times for all units. The exams begin on December 13, 2025.

Application Eligibility

- Students must pass their SSC or equivalent exam in 2022 or 2023.
Unit-wise Expected GPA Requirements

A Unit (Science):
- You need a total GPA of 8.00 in SSC and HSC together (with 4th subject).
- You must have at least GPA 3.50 in SSC.
- You must also have at least GPA 3.50 in HSC.
- You must be from the Science group.
B Unit (Arts & Law):
- You need a total GPA of 7.50 in SSC and HSC together (with 4th subject).
- You must have at least GPA 3.00 in SSC.
- You must also have at least GPA 3.00 in HSC.
- Students from Science, Arts, and Commerce groups can apply.
C Unit (Business Studies):
- You need a total GPA of 7.50 in SSC and HSC together (with 4th subject).
- You must have at least GPA 3.00 in SSC.
- You must also have at least GPA 3.00 in HSC.
- This unit is only for Commerce group students.
D Unit (Social Sciences):
- This unit now has its own faculty.
- Expected GPA: Total 8.00 (for Science) and 7.50 (for Arts/Commerce).
- You must have at least GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC.
E Unit (Fine Arts & Music):
- You need a total GPA of 7.00 in SSC and HSC together (with 4th subject).
- You must have at least GPA 3.00 in SSC.
- You must also have at least GPA 3.00 in HSC.
- Students from all groups can apply.

How to Apply
You must apply online. The JNU Admission application window is from November 20 to December 3, 2025.
- Visit the Website: Go to the JNU admission portal: admission.jnu.ac.bd.
- Click “Apply”: Find the “Apply Now” or “HSC/Equivalent Application” link.
- Fill Information: Type your SSC and HSC roll numbers, registration numbers, and boards. The website will find your GPA and details automatically.
- Upload Photo and Signature: You must upload a new color photo (passport size). You also need to upload your signature. Check the prospectus for the correct size and format.
- Choose Unit: Select the Unit (A, B, C, D, or E) you want to apply for. You can apply for more than one unit if you follow the rules.
- Submit Application: Check all your information carefully. Then submit the form. You will get an Applicant’s ID or User ID.
- Pay the Fee: Use the Applicant’s ID to pay the application fee. The fee is 1,000/- Taka (for A, B, C, D) or 1,200/- Taka (for E). You can usually pay with mobile banking (like bKash, Rocket, Nagad).
- Get Confirmation: After payment, you will get a confirmation SMS. You can also log in to the portal to see your payment status.
Admit Card Download
To Download Jagannath University Admit Card 2025-2026 you must finish your application and payment first.

Marks Distribution
The prospectus will explain the marks distribution for the JNU Admission 2025-2026. Here is the new pattern based on the latest decision:
Exam Format: The admission test will be held using the MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) method only. There will be no written examination.

Final Admission
After the merit list comes out, the final admission steps start.
- Subject Choice: Students on the merit list must fill a “Subject Choice Form” online. You will list the subjects you want.
- Subject Allotment: JNU will give you a subject. This is based on your merit rank and your choice list.
- Document Verification: You must come to the university to show your documents. You must bring your original SSC and HSC mark sheets, certificates, and the admit card.
- Final Fee Payment: After your documents are checked, you will pay the final admission fee. This will confirm your seat.
