Application Eligibility
You must meet these requirements to apply. These are based on the official 2025-26 circular.
Academic Requirements
- HSC & SSC Years: Candidates must have passed:
- SSC/Equivalent in 2023 and HSC/Equivalent in 2025
- OR SSC/Equivalent in 2022 and HSC/Equivalent in 2025
- OR SSC/Equivalent in 2022 and HSC/Equivalent in 2024
- Note: Candidates who passed SSC/Equivalent before 2022 are not eligible to apply.
- GPA (General):
- The total GPA from SSC and HSC must be at least 8.50.
- Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in each individual exam (SSC or HSC).
- GPA (Tribal):
- For ‘tribal’ and candidates from hilly districts (non-tribal), the minimum total GPA is 8.00.
- However, their individual GPA in any single exam (SSC or HSC) cannot be below 3.50.
- They must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in Biology.
- Subject & Group:
- Must be from the Science group in both SSC and HSC/Equivalent.
- HSC/Equivalent must include Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Biology GPA (Crucial):
- All applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 in Biology in the HSC/Equivalent exam.
- Age:
- Candidates must be a maximum of 20 years old as of 01 July 2025.
- O-Level / A-Level:
- Students with O-Level/A-Level must get an “Equivalence Certificate ID” from the Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) in Mohakhali, Dhaka, before applying.
Physical Eligibility
- For AFMC (Armed Forces Medical College):
- Height: Normal (appropriate for age).
- Weight: Must meet Body Mass Index (BMI) standards (+20 pounds relaxation is allowed).
- Vision: 6/6 (with glasses, power must be within +3.5 D and cylindrical +1.5 D).
- Disqualification: Colour blindness is an immediate disqualification. Gross physical deformity or any chronic disease will also make a candidate ineligible.
- Test: A dope test will be done, and it must be negative.
- Declaration: A guardian must provide a certificate stating the candidate has not suffered from any prior mental, infectious, or chronic diseases.
- For 05 Army Medical Colleges (AMC) & Navy Medical College:
- Candidates must be declared “fit” by a medical board health check.
How to Apply
Follow these steps to apply online.
- Visit the official application website: http://afmc.teletalk.com.bd.
- Read the admission instructions carefully before you start.
- Fill out the online application form with your personal and academic information. Be very careful, as you cannot edit it later.
- Upload your photo and signature as per the instructions.
- Submit the application. You will receive a User ID.
- Use the User ID to pay the application fee using the Teletalk payment method.
Important: If you make any mistake in your application, you cannot correct it. You must submit a new application and pay the 1000/- Taka fee again. Only the last application you submitted will be considered final.
Payment Instruction
- Fee: 1000/- (One Thousand) Taka.
- Method: Must be paid via a Teletalk Prepaid mobile number.
- Deadline: You must pay the fee within 24 hours of submitting your online application form.

Admit Card & Seat Plan
AFMC Admit Card Download will be started on December 14, 2025. Download Deadline is December 19, 2025. After that, No Admit Card can be Download. Admission Test Date, time, Center, Venue and others will be mentioend on it.
- Download Period: 14 December 2025 to 19 December 2025.
- How to Download: You can download your admit card from the http://afmc.teletalk.com.bd website using your User ID and Password.
- Instruction: You must download and get a color print of the admit card.
- Seat Plan:
- The detailed seat plan (which center and room you will be in) is not included in the main circular.
- The seat plan is usually published 1-2 days before the exam on the official website, www.afmc.edu.bd.
Marks Distribution

1. GPA Score (Total 100 Marks):

Important Rules for the Test:
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer in the MCQ test, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- Pass Mark: You must get at least 40 out of 100 in the written test to pass. If you score less than 40, you will fail and will not be included in the merit list.
- Mark Deduction (Second Timers): 3 marks will be deducted from the total aggregated score for candidates who passed HSC in 2024 (previous year).
- Mark Deduction (Govt. College): 5 marks will be deducted from the total aggregated score for candidates who were already admitted to any government Medical or Dental college in the 2024-2025 session.
Final Admission
After the merit list is published, selected candidates will be called for final admission.
- Meritorious-Needy Quota: 5% of seats will be reserved for a ‘meritorious-needy’ quota in the private Army and Navy Medical Colleges.
- Warning: If any information or document you provided is found to be incomplete or false, your admission will be cancelled at any time, even after admission.
- All decisions made by the ‘Admission Test Committee’ are final.
